Made from 1886 to 1890, these were produced in two models , a small frame and a large frame. The Bullard was considered a superior design levergun at the time. The magazine had a unique mechanism to allow it to be loaded from the bottom. It also had a magazine cut-off that allowed the levergun to be loaded and fired single shot with the magazine full.
No matter how good it was, the small company could not compete with Marlin and
Winchester and it soon went under.
